Consent Revocation

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

1. Overview

Trove Health Inc. commits to transparency regarding privacy rights for users of Individual Access Services (IAS). According to IAS Provider Requirements SOP and applicable laws including HIPAA and TEFCA, individuals may revoke consent to Trove Health's Privacy and Security Notice at any time. This page provides step-by-step instructions for exercising revocation rights as mandated by IAS Provider Requirements SOP.

2. Your Right to Revoke Consent

Users may revoke consent without penalty by following the outlined procedure. Revocation becomes effective upon processing and stops Trove Health from accessing, exchanging, using, or disclosing Individually Identifiable Information (III), except as legally required.

Important Notice: Revocation of consent may limit or permanently end your ability to access and use Trove Health's Individual Access Services, including the retrieval of your health information via TEFCA Exchange.

3. Step-by-Step Consent Revocation Instructions

Step 1: Prepare Your Request

Gather the following before submitting:

  • Full legal name (as registered with Trove Health)
  • Registered mobile number associated with account
  • Clear, written statement expressing intent to revoke consent

Step 2: Submit Your Revocation Request

Send email to Trove Health's Privacy Office with all three items from Step 1. Incomplete requests may delay processing.

  • Mail to: privacy@trovehealth.io
  • Subject Line: Revoke Consent

Step 3: Await Confirmation of Receipt

Trove Health acknowledges receipt within two (2) business days. If no confirmation received, follow up at privacy@trovehealth.io or +1 (415) 800-4442.

Step 4: Processing of Revocation

Trove Health fully processes requests within five (5) business days of confirming receipt. Notification provided upon completion.

4. Effect of Revocation

Upon full processing of revocation request:

  • Trove Health ceases accessing, exchanging, using, or disclosing Individually Identifiable Information for IAS
  • Ability to use Trove Health's IAS, including TEFCA Exchange, may be limited or terminated
  • Trove Health continues retaining certain information required by law, including audit logs, not subject to deletion
  • Revocation does not affect lawfulness of processing occurring before revocation

5. Alternative Options

Instead of full consent revocation, users may exercise these rights:

  • Opt out of TEFCA Exchange while retaining account
  • Request deletion of Individually Identifiable Information
  • Restrict use or disclosure of information
