Individual Access Services (IAS) — Request-Only Provider Statement

REQUEST-ONLY IAS PROVIDER: TROVE HEALTH DOES NOT PROVIDE BIDIRECTIONAL SERVICES. YOU WILL HAVE THE ABILITY TO REQUEST ACCESS TO YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION VIA TEFCA EXCHANGE. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE TROVE HEALTH TO SHARE YOUR HEALTH INFORMATION WITH OTHER PARTICIPANTS IN TEFCA.
1. Overview
Trove Health Inc. is a participating Individual Access Services (IAS) Provider under TEFCA, administered by the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) and its Recognized Coordinating Entity (RCE). This statement informs patients and healthcare providers of Trove Health's participation scope in TEFCA.
2. Request-Only Provider Designation
Trove Health is designated as a request-only IAS provider with no bidirectional exchange services. This means:
- Individuals can request access to health information from other TEFCA network participants through Trove Health's platform
- Individuals cannot send, share, or disclose health information to other TEFCA participants through this platform
- All data exchanges are strictly individual-initiated for personal health information access
3. Scope of TEFCA Exchange
All exchanges comply with:
- The TEFCA Common Agreement
- The IAS Provider Requirements SOP v2.0 (July 1, 2024)
- HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules
- All applicable federal and state health information exchange laws
4. Individual Rights
Users retain:
- Right to request access to health information from participating TEFCA organizations
- Right to opt out of TEFCA Exchange at any time
- Right to revoke consent to the Privacy and Security Notice at trovehealth.io/consent-revocation
5. No Sale of Information
Trove Health attests it does not sell Individually Identifiable Information, receive remuneration for such information, or use it for targeted advertising or unrelated commercial purposes.
